A Closer Look to the Apple Mac Mini

Here's a preview of the old Apple Mac Mini and compae what it got to the modern iPad these days. It boasts some quality features. Let's get a closer look into it.

Apple Mac Mini

The Processor
So how did they squeeze everything in th small size of this gadget from Apple? Well, very tightly indeed. Let's just hope that the heat sink and fan do their jobs as the G4 Processor of this Mac Mini can get quite toasty, and there's hardly a fan we can see - prolly its concealed somewhere.

Rear End
In the back, you have got 2 USB ports, 1 Firewire 400 port, 1 Ethernet port, 1 Jack and 1 DVD video output doubling as a VGA output for regular monitors. Buy an optional adaptor and you can plug your Mac Mini into your TV via S-Video (high quality connection) or composite output (your basic low quality connection), in case your TV doesn't have TVI (highest quality connection), which is probably doesn't unless you are a millionaire - well we are Millionaire just FYI

Space
To save space, the Mac Mini gets its juice extremely through a power brick . So technically it's not really that small. You will have to make some room on the floor which should be enough

Some Cool Gadgets Way Back - iShuffle and Audio-Technica

iShuffle
Also known as the iPod mini mini, the iShuffle seeks to provide the beauty of iTunes music to the folks on a budget. The iShuffle holds around 20 songs in its 512MB incarnation, or around 60 songs in the 256MB version.

There is no screen beacause users aremeant to listen to their favorite music in either of the two ways: in the order they made their palylist or randomly. We think Steve's job should be start firing people in Apple's ipod division except iPod users will tell you that's exactly how they listen to their itunes, so who knows Apple might be onto something.

Audio-Technica at DSP 300
So you have spent the last 2 years carefully curating your own digital music collection - but now what? Share the musical love, of course by purchasing mini speakers.

These cray candle-stick shaped ones are the work of crazy bearded audiophiles at Audio-Technica and effortlessly cool British designer Pail Smith. You get two speakers and an egg-shaped digital amplifier. Even if you could afford it, you can buy them here. Tough.
